Colorado car accident causes personal injury to 4 people
Colorado readers likely know the dangers of driving at high speeds or under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Unfortunately, these behaviors often lead to car accidents causing injury or death. One recent car accident near Colorado Interstate 25 has left four people hurt, and police suspect both of these negligent factors were involved.According to police, the car was traveling in a neighborhood near the interstate when the driver lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle rolled over, causing the serious injuries. All four occupants in the vehicle were transported to a local hospital where they were being treated for undisclosed injuries. Their conditions were not updated in reports immediately following the crash.Police have not released details about the investigation into this crash beyond their belief that both alcohol and speeding were factors. Unfortunately, the presence of these factors may indicate that the accident was preventable. Accidents such as this one may inspire the victims and their families to consider seeking their rights under Colorado’s personal injury laws.
Colorado’s personal injury laws state that anyone injured in a car accident caused by the negligence of another party may be eligible to seek compensation for their injuries and financial losses. Successfully litigated personal injury claims can provide the victims and their families with compensation for medical or recovery expenses, pain and suffering and lost wages. No one should have to face the challenges of a car accident injury alone, and with the right support, victims can get the help that they need.
