Colorado car crash: Driver and passenger killed

The lanes in the westbound direction of the Martin Luther King Jr. bypass were closed down for several hours recently, following a tragic incident in Colorado. A car crash involving two vehicles took place after a motorist lost control of her vehicle. Two people were killed and one was hospitalized in critical condition.A man who survived this crash was set to have surgery performed after suffering critical injuries. After a preliminary investigation, officials believe that the Sunday afternoon accident ensued when the female driver of a Toyota presumably lost control of her vehicle and traveled through the middle divider. The vehicle smashed into a Buick, driven by a male motorist traveling in the opposite direction. The impact killed the driver of the Toyota who died at the scene. The driver of the Buick suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported to a medical facility for treatment and surgery. The female occupant in the Buick was also transported to a medical facility with critical injuries. The woman later died at the hospital from her injuries.

After going through a surgery, the man may have a long road to recovery from his injuries due to the car crash. His pain and suffering, along with emotional distress, may lead him to file a personal injury claim against the deceased motorist’s estate. The family of the man’s deceased female passenger are likely grieving their loss and may seek justice through the Colorado court system on her behalf. The estate of the Toyota driver may be responsible for both a personal injury and wrongful death suit, if she is found to have been negligent, resulting in the tragic accident.
