Colorado car crash kills driver on highway

The highway can be a dangerous place for many drivers and their passengers. A three-vehicle car crash happened on a recent Sunday afternoon on a Colorado highway. The crash claimed the life of a 73-year-old motorist. Authorities are still investigating the accident.The accident reportedly happened in the early afternoon hours. Authorities conducted an initial investigation, which revealed that the driver of a Toyota sedan and the driver of a semi-truck were traveling in opposite directions. The driver of the Toyota sedan veered into the wrong lane and crashed into a trailer that was being hauled by the semi. Afterward, the driver of a Ford SUV who was headed in the southbound direction slammed into the back of the Toyota.Neither the driver of the Ford SUV nor the driver of the semi were injured in the crash. Tragically, the driver of the Toyota sedan died as a result of the accident. Authorities do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the incident, but they do believe that a medical episode may have been a contributing factor.A car crash is usually a daunting experience for many victims.
