One arrested in Colorado car crash

A horrific crash has occurred in Colorado Springs that has left one dead and several injured. A 21-year-old woman was killed following the two-vehicle car crash that took place on Saturday night. One person involved in the accident has been arrested for vehicular homicide and is being detained at a Colorado county jail.According to authorities, the accident occurred while the woman was an occupant of a Toyota SUV operated by a 24-year-old male driver. The female driver of a Kia SUV was attempting to turn left from another street when the Toyota crashed into the side of the Kia. Upon impact, the woman was thrown from where she was seated. Several other occupants in both vehicles, including the drivers, suffered injuries and were transported to the hospital for treatment.The ejected woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities issued a citation to the driver of the Kia for illegally turning left, and she was determined to be at fault by investigators. Additionally, the driver of the Toyota was believed to be under the influence at the time of the crash and was arrested for vehicular homicide.A fatal car crash is an emotional experience under any circumstances. Surviving family members are often left grieving the sudden and untimely death of their loved one and typically seek legal recourse and some form of justice.
